These Terms and Conditions ("Terms") govern your use of the services and products provided by Astetica ("we", "us", "our"), a UK-based aesthetics supplies provider and prescription facilitation service.

By using our website, purchasing from us, or engaging with our services, you agree to be bound by these Terms.


1. Business Overview

 

Astetica supplies medical and non-medical aesthetic products to qualified professionals. We also facilitate access to prescription-only medicines (POMs) via independent registered prescribers.

 

2. Eligibility

  • • You must be 18 years or older to use our services.

  • • Purchases of POMs are restricted to registered healthcare professionals (HCPs) with valid credentials.

  • • Proof of professional qualifications may be requested and verified before order fulfilment.


3. Product Orders and Prescription Services

• All orders are subject to availability and approval.

 

• POMs are supplied only upon receipt of a valid prescription from a registered UK prescriber.

 

• Astetica facilitates prescriptions but does not provide clinical or prescriber services. Responsibility for prescribing lies with the independent healthcare provider.

 

• We reserve the right to refuse any order at our discretion.


4. Prescription Goods

4.1 Prescription Requirement

 

All prescription-only medicines (POMs) are subject to UK regulations and can only be dispensed upon receipt of a valid prescription issued by a licensed prescriber. Astetica acts as a facilitator and does not itself issue prescriptions or make clinical decisions. It is your responsibility to ensure that prescriptions submitted are lawful, appropriate, and issued following a legitimate consultation. We reserve the right to refuse the supply of POMs if we suspect the prescription is invalid, inappropriate, or not in the patient’s best interest.


4.2 Reservation Prior to Prescription Receipt

 

Prescription-only medicines (POMs) may be provisionally reserved through our online system at the time of order submission. However, we will only dispense these items once we have received and verified an original, valid prescription issued by a UK-registered prescriber.


4.3 No Right to Cancel or Return

 

In accordance with UK healthcare regulations, prescription products are exempt from the right to cancel. Once a POM is dispensed, it cannot be returned or refunded unless it is defective, damaged in transit, or supplied in error. In which case a replacement or refund may be issued at our discretion. Issues must be reported within 24 hours of delivery. You agree that by placing an order for a prescription item, you forfeit the right to cancel once the order has been accepted and fulfilled.


4.4 Cancellation & Restocking Fees

 

If you cancel an order for prescription goods before dispatch, we reserve the right to charge restocking or administrative fees to cover costs incurred. If cancellation occurs after the prescription has been sent to our dispensing partner, further fees or a partial refund may apply, as decided at the discretion of the dispenser.


5. Pricing and Payment

 

• Prices are in GBP and exclusive of VAT unless otherwise stated.

 

• We may update pricing at any time without prior notice.

 

• Payment is required in full before order dispatch or as agreed in writing.

 

• Title to goods passes to the customer only upon full payment being received by Astetica Pharma Ltd.


6. Delivery

 

• Delivery timelines are estimates only. While we aim to dispatch promptly, we are not liable for delays caused by courier services, stock issues, or other unforeseen circumstances.

 

• Risk passes to you upon delivery.

7. Returns and Refunds

 

• Due to the nature of pharmaceutical and aesthetic products, we cannot accept returns unless the product is faulty or damaged.

 

• POMs are non-returnable and non-refundable once dispatched.

 

• You must notify us of any issues within 24 hours of receipt.

 

• Approved refunds will be processed within 7–14 working days using the original method of payment.

 

 

8. Professional Responsibility

 

• Products must be used in accordance with relevant clinical guidelines and by trained professionals only.

 

• You are responsible for ensuring you are legally allowed to purchase, store, and administer any products obtained through Astetica.

 

• Astetica accepts no liability for misuse, mishandling, or misadministration of any products.

 

 

9. Compliance and Verification

 

• We may request verification documents such as professional ID, registration, and insurance.

 

• Providing false or misleading information may result in account termination.

 

 

10. Messaging and Communications

 

• By providing contact information, you consent to receive service-related communications.

 

• Marketing or reminder messages may be sent by email or SMS. You may opt out at any time by following the instructions in our communications. Standard message and data rates may apply.



11. Third-Party Services

 

• Astetica works with third-party prescribers and dispensers. These parties operate independently and under their own terms. We are not liable for the acts or omissions of any third parties.

 

• Their services are governed by their own terms and conditions.

 

• We are not responsible for the quality or outcomes of third-party services.

 

• We are not responsible for the content, accuracy, or consequences of any prescription or clinical guidance provided by third-party prescribers. The prescriber is solely responsible for ensuring that treatment decisions are safe, legal, and in the patient’s best interest.



12. User Conduct

 

• You agree not to misuse our platform, including engaging in fraudulent activity, violating intellectual property rights, falsely representing yourself, or distributing malicious software. Breaches may result in account termination.

 

• We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your access to our services or website at any time, with or without notice, if we reasonably believe you have breached these Terms.

 

 

13. Data Responsibility

• You are responsible for maintaining copies of any important data or records submitted through our services.

 

14. Data Protection and GDPR

• We process personal data in accordance with the UK General Data Protection Regulation (UK GDPR) and the Data Protection Act 2018.

15. Disclaimer of Warranties

• All products and services are provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind.

• We do not guarantee uninterrupted access or error-free operation.

 

 

16. Indemnification

 

• You agree to indemnify and hold Astetica harmless from claims or losses resulting from your breach of these Terms or misuse of services.

 

 

17. Limitation of Liability

 

• We are not liable for indirect or consequential damages arising from your use of our services or products.

 

• Our total liability is limited to the amount paid for the specific product or service.

 

 

18. Intellectual Property

 

• All website content, branding, and materials are owned by Astetica Group Ltd and protected by intellectual property laws.

 

 

19. Changes to Terms

 

• We may amend these Terms at any time. Changes take effect upon posting.

 

• Continued use of our services signifies acceptance of any updated Terms.

 

 

20. Dispute Resolution

 

• Any dispute shall first be attempted to be resolved amicably.

 

• If unresolved, disputes will be settled through binding arbitration under the laws of England and Wales.

 

• You waive any right to participate in class actions.

 

 

21. Force Majeure

 

• We shall not be liable for any failure or delay in performing our obligations where such failure or delay results from any cause beyond our reasonable control, including but not limited to natural disasters, war, strikes, or disruptions in supply chains or delivery networks.

 


22. Assignment and Severability

 

• We may assign our rights and obligations under these Terms to another entity.

 

• If any provision of these Terms is found to be invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions will remain enforceable.

 

 

23. No Clinical Relationship

 

• Astetica is not a healthcare provider or prescriber.

 

• Clinical decisions, advice, and prescriptions are the responsibility of third-party registered professionals.

 

 

24. Governing Law

 

• These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales.

 

 

25. Amendments

 

• We reserve the right to amend these Terms at any time. Changes will be effective once posted on our website.
